Le Bonheur Pumpkin Run
Join Team Lucy!
Here's the info on how to join Team Lucy. (Thank you to Kristy Lyons for starting this team.) I spoke with a representative from St. Jude today, and if you want to join Team Lucy for the St. Jude Run in December, click here and follow these simple directions:
How to sign up to fundraise as a St. Jude Hero:
1) Visit www.stjudemarathon.org.
2) Click the “Register Now” button.
3) Choose the race you wish to participate in.
4) Fill in all required information and fields.
5) When asked if you would like to become a St. Jude Hero, click “Yes!”
6) Select the drop down menu that say “I am fundraising as a Team Participant.”
7) In the blank provided, enter “Team Lucy.”
8) Fill out all other appropriate information.
You will receive an instant receipt and confirmation from active.com. Within a couple of days, you will receive a separate email from the St. Jude Heroes program. This will contain instructions and login information for your personal fundraising website. Once you get this information, you may login to customize your page, upload your contacts, and begin your fundraising.

Race to the Finish!
Well, you did it! We all did it! What a great day yesterday was! We are still AMAZED at the beautiful weather we had yesterday. God heard our prayers, didn't He? The race was a HUGE success, and we couldn't have done it without our volunteers, sponsors, and race participants! Because of your generosity, we were able to raise over $25,000 for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and the Krull family.
Thank you to all who came out and supported Le Bonheur and the Krull family yesterday!
We were so happy that Lucy was there to see all of the racers as they lined South College Street at Covington High School! It was such a special moment when the crowd cheered, "Go Lucy Go!", before the start of the race. It's one of the race moments we'll never forget. We can't wait to see everyone! Remember, if you can't make it tonight, please arrive at Covington High School tomorrow morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for packet pick up.
And...if you still want to register for the race, you can sign up before the race begins...same time as packet pick up, 8:30-9:30 a.m. tomorrow! If you are registered for the race, but did not meet the deadline for getting a t-shirt, bring $10.00 with you! You can order a shirt at the race! :-)

Online Registration Closes Thursday @ Noon!
Be sure to register before NOON this Thursday, May 19th, if you are planning on registering online for the 2011 Go Lucy Go/Le Bonheur 5K! After this time, the only option left for registering will be on the day of the race, May 21st, from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. at Covington High School.

Reaching an End
Praising the Lord today that Lucy has completed her radiation treatments and praying that God will continue to wrap His arms around Lucy and her family as she fights this disease. Go Lucy Go! May God continue to heal you. May you enjoy this time off from treatment with your family and friends and may you regain strength in the days ahead. This is our prayer for you. Fight Lucy Fight!
