Sunday Night

Best. Weekend. Ever

No doubt about it, this was the best weekend of my life.  So exhausted from just enjoying life.

Ella and Jack before church this morning

Ella and Lucy hanging out together and Hyatt came to play

Going to go sleep with my precious Lucy and will give a nice update tomorrow.  It's back to reality in the morning.  Our nasty, unbelievable reality.  I'm just so incredibly thankful for the refreshing and uplifting weekend God allowed us.  It was amazing!

In church this morning we sang this song.  Erik and I went with Ella this morning as she made her public profession of faith.  We wouldn't have missed it for the world, but it was a very emotional service for me.  It was our first time back in church since Lucy's diagnosis and my oldest daughter shared with our church family her decision.  I held it together pretty well until we sang my favorite praise hymn by Christ Tomlin.  Every time I left the hospital during our 6 week stay this song would be playing on the radio.  It has become an anthem for me.

HOW GREAT IT OUR GOD
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
